reads live location straight from the vehicle and uses AI to turn it into a pattern: where the vehicle stands regularly, and when it will be there. Right at the point where your team decides where to send an agent. No tracker, no vehicle contact.

Strong fit
Not a fit
Most finance providers already have a well-defined recovery process. The friction is not in opening a case. It is in the manual investigation that happens between opening the case and knowing where to send a recovery agent.
Address checks, phone calls and door knocks before an agent can be dispatched with confidence.
ANPR and field intelligence describe where a vehicle was, not where it is now.
By the time enough evidence is gathered, the opportunity to recover may have passed.
Recovery capacity is often spent on cases with the weakest signals, not the strongest.
Four views your team works with every day: which vehicles are recoverable now, where a vehicle is, when it is most likely to be there, and what the agent in the field gets on their phone.
Fleet readiness
Every vehicle in a recovery case gets a readiness score from 0 to 100, based on how fresh and how repeatable its data is. Your team works the top of the list instead of guessing.
Live location & timeline
Where the vehicle's connectivity supports it, you see up-to-date location and a movement timeline instead of waiting for the next camera hit or field report.
Best recovery windows
TRAICE analyses recurring locations and parking behaviour, then recommends the days and time slots with the highest chance of a successful visit — with a confidence marker so your team knows how much to trust it.
Field agent link
Share a read-only, time-limited tracking link with the agent going out. It updates while they drive, so they are not working from a location that is already an hour old.
does not replace your collections, recovery or field operations. It sits inside the workflow you already run, and gives your team a clearer picture before an agent is dispatched.

With a location and a plan
Traditional recovery stays the right route for pre-2016 or non-connected vehicles.
With TRAICE, the investigation time collapses from weeks into a few days.
Recovery activates at the moment a case is opened. Your team keeps its existing collections, recovery and field operations, and gains a live intelligence layer to plan around.
Where supported by the vehicle's connectivity, see up-to-date location instead of waiting for the next sighting.
Understand where and when a vehicle typically appears: home area, workplace, weekend patterns.
Recovery teams prioritise the cases most likely to succeed and dispatch agents at the right moment.
Recovery agents, field partners and existing systems stay in place. provides the intelligence. Your team stays in control of every recovery decision.
End-to-end flow
Your system flags a case.
Checked against manufacturer coverage.
Direct from the manufacturer.
Location, patterns, dwell times.
Send agents with a plan.
Access ends with the case.
is only activated after a lender has identified a missed payment or another legitimate recovery event and has initiated the recovery process. It is not used to continuously monitor customers or vehicles. Access is tied to a specific recovery case, supporting a proportionate, privacy-conscious approach that aligns with the lender's legitimate interest in recovering financed assets.
This is the question that decides most compliance reviews, so we answer it directly rather than in the small print. There are two separate layers, and they are often confused with each other.
The driver or keeper enables the manufacturer's connected services for the vehicle. That is the technical gate that makes data available at all. It is granted with the manufacturer, not with us, and it can be turned off by the person who holds it.
Your lawful basis as the controller is normally legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f), documented in a Legitimate Interest Assessment. It is not the customer's consent, because a basis that can be withdrawn at the moment of default is no basis at all.
Data stops arriving for that vehicle and TRAICE says so openly instead of showing a stale position as if it were current. Your team sees the last confirmed read and its timestamp, and falls back to your existing recovery route for that case.
The right to object under Article 21 stands, and your process for handling it stays yours. Access is scoped to the open recovery case and ends when the case closes, which is what makes the balancing test defensible in the first place.
In a recovery deployment the lender is the controller and is the processor under a DPA. This section is general information about how the deployment is structured, not legal advice.
Recovery agents leave with a location and a plan, not a starting hypothesis.
Effort is concentrated on cases where the vehicle is most likely to be located.
Less time spent on address checks, phone calls and unproductive visits.
No hardware. No changes to your IT stack. No changes to your recovery process. Integration into your own systems is optional and comes later.
Straightforward controller–processor agreement scoped to recovery use.
Share the vehicles in scope. We handle manufacturer connectivity setup.
Accounts created, your recovery team logs in and works in the browser. No install needed.

Common questions from automotive finance providers, lenders and leasing companies.
A 30-minute working session with our team. We map onto your current recovery workflow and show where it makes the biggest difference.
We do not publish customer quotes, because we do not have approval to name the portfolios we work with. What we can show you instead is exactly how the platform reaches its conclusions.
Live, owner-approved manufacturer data straight from the vehicle. Nothing is fitted, nothing is retrofitted, and no aftermarket tracker is involved.
AI models build recovery windows from repeated presence at the same place, at the same time of day, over several days of driving data — not from a single ping.
No covert surveillance, no continuous driver monitoring, no data beyond the case in hand. Access is case-scoped, logged and time-limited.
Lawful basis documented, DPA available before any pilot, EU-hosted infrastructure, retention limits and a full audit trail.
